Launched in 2019, our Rock Your Socks campaign has become Barbados’ largest awareness-raising initiative for Down syndrome. This campaign not only raises awareness but also serves as the association’s primary fundraising event. Schools, businesses, hotels, and government agencies across the island come together each year to show solidarity by wearing colourful socks in recognition of World Down Syndrome Day.

The campaign continues to grow, with more people supporting the initiative by purchasing socks from the Barbados Down Syndrome Association and participating in awareness activities at their workplaces and schools.
